Know someone who has made an outstanding contribution in immigrant services or community living services? Have you been touched by someone who has made a long term and vital commitment to early childhood development or community building? How about honouring an individual or organization that has helped to change the course of social policy? Then consider nominating them for the 2011 Award for Excellence.
The Award for Excellence recognizes the exceptional contributions of an individual, team or organization in the field of child, family or community social services. Recipients may be recognized for their outstanding qualities and devotion to the field over a long period of time and/or for their significant and lasting contribution to the field based on work undertaken in a project of a short term nature.
Nominations
The nomination process takes place between July and September each year. Nominators (one initiator and two supporters) must be Federation members, however it is not necessary for the nominees to be members of the Federation. If more than one nomination is received, the Federation members are invited to vote for the nominee of their choice during late September and early October.
