The Research to Practice Network

The Research to Practice Network is a network of academicians and researchers working in collaborative partnership with the Federation to provide insight for field practitioners into relevant research in the field of children and families.

Research to Practice members are leading academics in a range of practice areas, and they have made a commitment to translate the latest developments in research relevant to front-line workers into understandable and practical summaries which promote reflective practice, practice-based research and evaluation. These summaries will be transmitted to agencies and front-line staff across the province and made available to members on the Federation website.

The goal of the Research to Practice network is to support Federation member agencies and their staff to be the best informed most progressive and effective child and family serving organizations in the country, with services continually evolving and improving to meet the needs and best interests of the people they serve. Research articles will be issued once a month and will be available on the Federation website.
