Membership Expectations
All prospective members should read and reflect on the expectations of membership. This will be your Federation and we hope that you will agree that these should be basic to being a member in good standing. The Federation also commits to uphold its promises to you.

If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact Rebecca Ataya at The Federation office to further discuss the benefits, requirements and application process. You are also welcome to participate as our guest at one of our provincial general meetings (held in February/March, June and October/November each year). This presents an excellent opportunity to learn first hand about the Federation, its role in the sector, and the benefits of belonging.
Applications may be submitted at any time. Upon receipt of the application, the package will be reviewed by the Membership Committee and then a recommendation is made to the full membership. Ratification of new members is done by the full membership at the outset of each general meeting.
The application package consists of an application form, a letter of reference from either a Federation member or your contract manager, new member survey form, and audited financial statements. Upon ratification, your agency will be invoiced for dues owing for the remainder of the fiscal year and you will receive a New Members Orientation package with information about how to access the members section of the website, apply for insurance programs, etc.
We regulalrly hold on-line information sessions about The Federation; please contact us if you are interested in joining or would like more information about the benefits of membership or how to apply.
